Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed that the Bundesliga giants are yet to decide whether they will turn Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo's loan move into a permanent deal this summer.
The Portuguese international, who will turn 29 later this month, joined the German club on loan for the remainder of the season in the January transfer window.
His exit from the Etihad Stadium came as a surprise to almost everybody, with Pep Guardiola saying tactical tweaks were behind the decision.
Cancelo, who can operate as either a right-back or a left-back, has made 19 appearances for Bayern in total so far, scoring one goal and registering six assists.
