Manchester United’s summer pursuit of Harry Kane could reportedly have a bearing on who Tottenham manage to appoint as their next boss.
Kane is Erik ten Hag’s top target in his search for a new centre-forward, although will not entertain drawn-out talks with Daniel Levy, who is set to drive a hard bargain for his club’s talisman.
Spurs are currently under the second tenure of caretaker boss Ryan Mason following the sacking of former interim manager Cristian Stellini.
With only four games until the end of the campaign, the London club are expected to wait until the summer to appoint a new permanent manager.
