Rhulani Mokwena was calm, measured and even empathetic when he spoke about TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic, who is fanning a one-sided beef between him and the Mamelodi Sundowns coach.
While Mokwena was in Mauritania last week – preparing the Brazilians for their CAF Champions League assignment against FC Nouadhibou, who they beat to advance to the knockout stage for a sixth season in a row – the German coach was going in on him while getting ready for Galaxy's Nedbank Cup commitments.
Ramovic told journalists that Mokwena lied about his conversation with Bafana coach Hugo Broos, and that when he spoke about calling him, the Sundowns coach wasn't forthcoming with how the call went.
Ramovic accused Mokwena of swearing at him, and then threatening the TS Galaxy coach by allegedly saying: "Who the f**k are you to come to my f***ing country and talk to me like this?
