Manchester United teenager Hannibal Mejbri has been called up by Tunisia for their upcoming international friendly against Brazil later this month.

The midfielder is currently on a season-long loan at Birmingham after featuring for the Reds' senior side against Liverpool and Crystal Palace last term before being included in Erik ten Hag’s pre-season tour squad.

The 19-year-old has already been capped 16 times by his nation, with two appearances coming in January’s Africa Cup of Nations and six coming in the country's Arab Cup triumph last year.

He is one of many United players expected to play at this winter’s World Cup. READ MORE: Chong praises Hannibal but warns him about Birmingham loan Among them are Brazilians Casemiro, Fred and Antony.
