Greater Manchester weather forecast for week ahead after Storm Otto hits UK

Storm Otto battered parts of the UK this weekend, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. Though the storm mostly bypassed our region, strong gusts still hit Greater Manchester with a yellow weather warning issued for places on the outskirts.

Next week, forecasters predict weather conditions will be a lot more settled. According to the Met Office, most days will be cloudy and overcast in our region.

Temperatures will reach highs of around 12C at the start of the week, before dipping to an average of around 7C later on.
