Graeme Murty in life after Rangers management redemption link as Reading 'keep tabs' on boss

Former Rangers boss Graeme Murty has been linked with a return to management at Reading as pressure mounts on Royals boss Paul Ince.

Murty is in charge of the Sunderland’s Head of Professional Development but his status as a legend as a player at the Madejski Stadium has seen his name touted as a potential successor to Ince, if the axe falls on the former England midfielder.

Reading fell to their third straight English Championship less at the weekend when they went down 1-0 to Millwall to leave them languishing in 16th place in the second tier.

And according to journalist Alan Nixon, the Berkshire outfit are keeping tabs on Murty with Ince under serve scrutiny from the fans.
