Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for Manchester United's pre-season friendly tussle against Premier League counterparts Crystal Palace at Melbourne Cricket Ground, making three changes to the side that beat Melbourne Victory.

United, who were beaten 1-0 by Palace on the final day of last season, have made an encouraging start to their pre-season preparations, winning their opening two matches, beating Liverpool (4-0) and Victory (4-1).

They will be looking to maintain their winning start to the Ten Hag era this morning, BST time. The Dutchman, who is close to being reunited at Old Trafford with Ajax ace Lisandro Martinez, has made a handful of alterations to the side that beat Victory in Friday, with David de Gea, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford coming into the side.

The trip have replaced Tom Heaton, Luke Shaw and Anthony Elanga.
