Cristiano Ronaldo trains with Manchester United teammates following Erik ten Hag criticism

Cristiano Ronaldo has been pictured training with his Manchester United teammates ahead of their Premier League opener at home to Brighton this weekend.

Erik ten Hag's side begin their new league campaign at Old Trafford on Sunday and will be hoping for three points as the perfect springboard for a successful season.

United have been gearing up for the match with a number of training sessions at the club's Carrington complex with Ronaldo one of the stars snapped in the latest training photographs to be released. Ronaldo, 37, is still training with the first-team squad a day after he and other stars were slammed by the new United manager for leaving Old Trafford during their pre-season draw with Rayo Vallecano.
