Former Man United striker tells Erik ten Hag how to turn Marcus Rashford into a 20-goal forward

Dwight Yorke says “an arm around the shoulder” from Erik ten Hag will give Marcus Rashford enough confidence to grow into a 20-plus goal striker for Manchester United.

Rashford had an underwhelming season last term, scoring just five times and often looking demoralised amid the club’s struggles.

However, he seems to have rediscovered his swagger under Ten Hag in pre-season. He managed to net twice and also wreaked havoc against the backlines of Liverpool and Aston Villa in pre-season, chasing balls down and showing classy touches.

Yorke said he is a “huge fan” of Rashford for his on and off-pitch activity.
