Gjis Smal has reportedly been issued a hardline ultimatum by FC Twente over a new deal with Rangers among the clubs monitoring the left-back.
Both Borna Barisic and Ridvan Yilmaz face uncertain futures at Ibrox with the Croat out of contract in the summer while the Turkish international reportedly attracting interest from Galatasaray and Hellas Verona this month.
Philippe Clement has already stated that neither left-back will be leaving this month until another arrives - but Twente's 26-year-old could offer a solution.
The Eredivise outfit are reported to have reached the end of the road with Smal - who they have offered a new contract to but has yet to commit his future to the club.
