Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has proposed a new rule that would shake up how points are awarded to teams in the league.

Neville, now a pundit, has regularly been outspoken on key issues in England's top division. Having been a strong advocate of an independent regulator, the 49-year-old was strongly against a potential European Super League in 2021.

Now, the ex-United star has suggested a way that would separate teams when games finish level.
