Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville was massively impressed with Erik ten Hag's team after they progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
United started the game on the front foot and were rewarded on 21 minutes as a returning Alejandro Garnacho slid home to steer the Reds ahead.
Shortly afterwards, Ten Hag's men had doubled their advantage. A leaping Casemiro header left Sam Johnstone with little chance in the Crystal Palace goal.
The game was put beyond doubt following the interval as Anthony Martial expertly fired in a third from a tight angle at the back post to send United into the next round.
