Willie Harvey has accepted an immediate one-match ban for being sent off on Saturday, but hopes Rutherglen Glencairn’s highlights will vindicate him.

Harvey will miss the home West of Scotland League First Division clash against Bonnyton Thistle. The Glens boss was sent to the stand by referee Regan Wallace for comments made to him as his side fell to a 3-2 West of Scotland Cup third round defeat at home to Craigmark Burntonians, in which defender Anthony Maguire also saw red.

Harry Mitchell put Glencairn in front, but Liam Caddis scored a penalty to level for a handball, before Jack McIlveen restored the hosts’ lead.

Jordan Ryan headed Craigmark level, Maguire was shown a second yellow, and Caddis netted another penalty to send them through to the fourth round.
