Fulham manager Marco Silva is confident Erik ten Hag will come out of this difficult spell at Manchester United in a better position despite the recent start to the season.

MEN Sport revealed on Thursday some members of the first team squad were starting to lose confidence in Ten Hag following recent matches.

Last Sunday, the Reds were beaten 3-0 by fierce rivals Manchester City before losing convincingly by the same scoreline to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

While Ten Hag's job still appears to be safe at present, pressure is mounting on the Reds ahead of their trip to Craven Cottage tomorrow.
