Rangers have reportedly made an improved offer of around £5.2 million plus add ons for Danilo as they step up their efforts to land the Brazilian from Feyenoord.
The Dutch Eredivisie champions are now said to be considering the offer, having previously rejected an opening offer in the region of £3.5m for the 24-year-old for the former Ajax man who is under contract until 2026.
The Algemeen Dagblad have reported the second bid being made after Michael Beale admitted following the Ibrox's side's pre-season friendly defeat to Newcastle United that he was keen on the player.
The Englishman said: "He's a player we like. I think a lot of people like him. He's not the only forward we're talking to - that's seems to be the one that's been let out.
