Eurosport's John McEnroe has defended Novak Djokovic after the 22-time Grand Slam champion was booed during his French Open match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Friday afternoon.

Novak Djokovic was fortunately unscathed after he took a nasty tumble in the opening set of the 2023 French Open final against Casper Ruud on Sunday. Ruud is through to his third Grand Slam final in his past five tournaments. He was runner-up to Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros in 2022 and then lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the US Open final.
