Following Manchester United’s lacklustre start to the Premier League season, all fingers seem to be pointing towards their midfield as a cause of the problem.

These criticisms come after the £55m signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea back in early July, who has so far failed to impress in United colours.

The injury to Kobbie Mainoo is also not helping the Reds' middle-of-the-park issues, as the player looked fantastic at the start of United’s pre-season tour before picking up a knock against Real Madrid.

The youngster is still set to be sidelined for a number of weeks, with Erik Ten Hag saying the youngster could be out for around two months, assuring United fans that the 18-year-old is in his plans.

Pakistan Hockey Federation Bans Five Formers Players For Trying To Make Separate Federation
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said.
