Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma would bring something different to Old Trafford amid increasing speculation over his future.

The Japan international, 26, has been one of the Premier League's most consistent performers since the start of last season, netting 10 goals and grabbing nine assists in the league alone.

He has scored three times and registered three assists in his first eight Premier League appearances this term. Mitoma, who joined Brighton from Kawasaki Frontale in August 2021, is out of contract at the Amex Stadium in June 2025, though there has been increasing talk that he is on the cusp of signing a new deal to extend his stay.

Nevertheless, speculation concerning his future remains rife.
