Former Man City star Nedum Onuoha makes James Trafford prediction after England heroics

Former defender Nedum Onuoha believes Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford has announced himself to the rest of the Premier League after his displays at the European Under-21 Championship for England.

Trafford kept six clean sheets in as many games to help the young Three Lions win the trophy, featuring an heroic double save to keep out a 99th-minute Spain penalty in Saturday's final.

The contest looked set to go to extra-time, after Spain captain Abel Ruiz was handed the chance to make it 1-1 deep into stoppage time.

However, Trafford, who is closing in on a move to Premier League newcomers Burnley, produced two brilliant saves to ensure that Curtis Jones' first half goal clinched the trophy for England.
