The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel advice for tourists heading to Greece. Holidaymakers heading to parts of the country are being warned about 'adverse weather conditions' currently affecting parts of the country.

A record rainfall caused at least two deaths near the central city of Volos and three people were reported missing. Traffic has also been banned in the regions Pieria, Thessalia, Sporades, Evia and Fthiotida.

The weather conditions are already affecting plans for holidaymakers with some flights to the country cancelled.
