Manchester City are one of a number of clubs apparently tracking Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson. The Seagulls star netted a hat-trick in his club’s 3-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend and is tipped to have a successful season at the AMEX Stadium.
The 18-year-old scored six goals in 19 Premier League matches last term and has already amassed four in as many games this campaign.
Now, inews says City and all other Champions League contending Premier League clubs have put the Irishman on their radar, although the Blues will likely prioritise extending Erling Haaland’s contract above all.
Brighton are expected to receive interest about Ferguson in the January window although may be more likely to sell up next summer.
