A ‘feel good’ Mexican chain is set to open its second restaurant in Manchester after hitting a huge milestone. Zambrero, which started life in Australia almost 20 years ago, sells a range of build-your-own burritos, quesadilla stacks, nachos and tacos.
Alongside a number of stores in its native country, the brand has expanded to the UK in recent years - with a restaurant located by Piccadilly Gardens.
Earlier this month, Zambrero celebrated the opening of its 300th store with a new location in Melbourne. It also has restaurants in New Zealand, the United States and in Ireland. If approved, the Grade II-listed building would retain a number of its historical elements with no structural works required in the takeover.
