The FA Cup dream came to an end for a number of Kent teams on Saturday. Sittingbourne’s best FA Cup run for 11 years is over after a 3-0 home defeat to higher-league Plymouth Parkway, who themselves reached the fourth qualifying round for the first time.

Shane White’s early penalty put Plymouth on their way and Callum Hall’s deflected effort made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time.

Matt Wright ensured there was no upset midway through the second half with a third goal. Dartford went down 3-1 at National League South Worthing, the hosts set on their way by Danny Cashman’s early long-range strike.

Cashman scored his second from the penalty spot early in the second half and Tommy Willard added a third before Eddie Dsane pulled a goal back with 20 minutes left.
