F1 GP Meksiko: Sainz Menang, Norris Dekati Poin Verstappen

Pembalap Ferrari Carlos Sainz memenangkan balapan Formula 1 GP Meksiko 2024. Sementara Lando Norris berhasil memangkas jarak poin dengan pemimpin klasemen Max Verstappen setelah menjadi runner-up.

Drama sudah terjadi sejak awal balapan di Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Senin (28/10/2024) dinihari WIB. Sainz kehilangan pole position di lap pertama karena disalip Verstappen.

Mobil Sainz pun melebar keluar trek. Crash Yuki Tsunoda dan Alex Albon di lap pertama membuat yellow flag berkibar. Setelah trek dinyatakan aman pada lap tujuh, Sainz kembali memburu Verstappen dan akhirnya berhasil mengambil kembali posisi terdepan pada lap sembilan.

Pada lap ke-10, aksi bertahan Verstappen dari Norris di turn 4 membuat nama kedua keluar trek. Pada turn 8, keduanya keluar trek saat Verstappen berupaya menyerang Norris dari sisi dalam.
