Red Bull Racing tampil dominan di Formula 1 GP Bahrain 2023 usai Max Verstappen dan Sergio Perez mengunci posisi 1-2. Fernando Alonso yang membalap untuk Aston Martin juga tampil gemilang dengan meraih podium ketiga.

Berlangsung di Sirkuit Internasional Bahrain, Minggu (5/3) malam WIB, Verstappen yang memulai balapan di grid terdepan langsung melaju kencang di depan.

Charles Leclerc membuntuti di urutan dua usai menyalip Perez, yang turun ke posisi tiga. Lap ke-14, Leclerc masuk pit, mengganti ban soft menjadi hard.

Verstappen baru masuk pit di lap ke-15, ia mengganti ban soft dengan soft. Di lap ini juga pebalap debutan F1, Oscar Piastri harus retired karena masalah listrik di mobilnya.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen continued his red-hot form to top the FP2 standings under the lights ahead of Sunday’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah. Verstappen's team-mate Sergio Perez finished third with Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso sandwiched in between, a narrow 0.208 seconds adrift of the current champion. Ad It wasn’t all plain sailing for Verstappen, though — who won the season opener in Bahrain two weeks ago — as he reported “really bad” problems with the downshift over the team radio.
