Erik ten Hag told he hasn't fixed Manchester United's biggest problem from last season

Micah Richards has highlighted a lack of goals as Manchester United's biggest issue in their worst start to a Premier League season for 34 years.

United were beaten 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, Joachim Andersen firing home the only goal on 25 minutes. The defender arrowed an effort past Andre Onana via a deflection off Diogo Dalot.

Despite dominating possession, Erik ten Hag's side failed to build any genuine momentum and clear-cut chances were sparse. Any openings were either finished poorly or saved well by Eagles goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. "The size of the club, the players that they’ve brought in, and you’re looking for something every week when are they gonna get it right?

And it just goes on. "But it just goes on, they’re seven points off the top four and they’ve only scored seven goals in seven games this season while everyone in the top four has scored at least double that, and the problems just seem to continue.
