Manchester United are closing in on the deadline set by former midfielder Robbie Savage to make a decision on Erik ten Hag's future.
Savage, a former United academy player, said in October that manager Ten Hag should be given until Christmas to turn things around after a shaky start to the season.
The popular TV pundit questioned some of Ten Hag's decisions, including his recruitment strategy and move to make Bruno Fernandes captain as he described the situation at the club as "a mess", partly due to a lack of a clear playing style.
The former midfielder previously praised Ten Hag for getting United into the top four and two cup finals last season, but criticised the Dutchman for performances this term.
