Erik ten Hag gives Manchester United injury update after Sevilla disaster

Erik ten Hag has explained he will have to wait to assess the damage suffered to his Manchester United squad during the shocking defeat to Sevilla.

Despite at one stage cruising in the tie after going 2-0 up at Old Trafford, United were unceremonially dumped out of the Europa League on Thursday in a disastrous 3-0 defeat in Spain.

Harry Maguire hopelessly gave the ball away in the first few minutes to gift an opening goal and the side was never able to recover.

David de Gea failed to keep out a looping ball off a shoulder just after the break before getting caught out miles outside of his box for the killing blow.
