Newcastle United star Elliot Anderson has been handed a full Scotland call up for the Euro 2024 qualifier against Cyprus and the glamour friendly against England as Steve Clarke WINS the tug of war with the Auld Enemy over his international future.
The 20-year-old has been capped by both Scotland, who he qualifies for through the grandparent rule, and England as he progressed through the youth ranks.
But despite making his U21 debut for Gemmill’s side against Belgium last summer the Whitley Bay-born playmaker is still wanted by the Three Lions.
But now Clarke has named him in his senior pool for September double header as Scotland look to take a giant step towards Germany and then host Gareth Southgate’s men.
