Ebbsfleet manager Dennis Kutrieb insists there’s still room for improvement. The Fleet made it 10 wins from 11 games as they continue to set the pace at the top of National League South, with second-placed Havant impressively remaining just two points behind them.

Kutrieb’s men put five goals past Taunton at Stonebridge Road on Saturday and while the Fleet boss had nothing to moan about from that contest, he’s keen that they continue to strive to reach greater heights. “Everyone can improve,” said Kutrieb. “I’m very happy with the performance and I’m happy to be manager of the team because they have so much quality and so much to offer.

They’re honest and are good characters and show it week in, week out. “We’ve ticked off the first 10 games, now we focus on the next 10 – we’ve ticked the first one off, we have nine more and then we can see where we are after 20 games.

That’s all we can do. “Obviously, it was good to see and it was a good performance. You can improve and you have to improve as other teams will improve as well.
