Dundee boss Gary Bowyer believes Rangers striker Fashion Sakala should have been sent off after a second half flashpoint with Cammy Kerr.
The Zambian and Kerr were both booked by referee Willlie Collum but the Dens Park boss is adamant it should have been red for the Zambian international who appeared to kick out at his opponent.
But the winger was able to see out the game as the Ibrox side huffed and puffed to a 1-0 win over the Championship side to book their place in the last four of the Premier Sports Cup.
Rangers will face Aberdeen for a spot in the Final. Speaking after the game, Bowyer said: "There are lessons for us to take going into the remainder of our campaign.
