Dumfries and Galloway curlers set to represent Scotland on the European stage

Four Dumfries and Galloway curlers are gearing up to represent Scotland on the European stage. Kirkgunzeon’s Grant Hardie and Stranraer pair Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan Jnr are in Bruce Mouat’s mens rinks for the Le Gruyere AOP European Championships.

And Dumfries’ Sophie Jackson features in Rebecca Morrison’s team for the women’s event at Lohja’s Kiskallio Sports Centre in Finland.

The men’s team go into the event having won the European Championships four times out of four and are looking to continue in that form.

The women’s rink – which features Dumfries’ Fay Henderson as alternate has previously finished third and fifth in the European championships.
