Duk to land Aberdeen bumper transfer profit as Jim Goodwin reveals Benfica green lit Pittodrie move for NOTHING

dailyrecord.co.uk

Jim Goodwin has revealed Aberdeen signed Duk for free but he’s certain his old club will rake in millions when they decide to sell him.

The former Dons boss signed the in-demand striker from Benfica in the summer and he has proved to be the bargain of the season with clubs across the continent and England tracking him.

The Aberdeen frontman’s 18 goals has made him hot property with Everton, Spezia and Bologna, as well as several English Championship sides linked with him.

Burnley were also reported to be interested but sources confirmed the Premier League-bound club won’t make a move. Goodwin, now Dundee United gaffer, confirmed Dons struck a deal to get the Cape Verde international for nothing but the Portuguese giants wanted a significant sell-on fee.
