Duk Aberdeen FC transfer interest intensifies as Serie A and Eredivisie suitors 'emerge'

dailyrecord.co.uk

Aberdeen could face a real fight to keep Duk amid interest from two top leagues. The attacker has pace to burn and brings that unpredictability factor to Barry Robson's ranks but the Press and Journal report that he is being tracked by clubs in Serie A and the Eredivisie with teams in England's Championship and in Switzerland already keeping tabs on him.

The Cape Verde international made the move to Pittodrie from Benfica and is contracted until summer 2025 - meaning he has 18 months to run on his current terms.

The Portuguese giants are said to be set to net a big chunk of any transfer fee landed by the Dons. He enjoyed a brilliant first campaign in Scotland with 18 goals in all competitions but he's only managed just five so far this term.

Bojan Miovski is another key player Robson will be desperate to keep in his ranks as he looks to march up the table and challenge for European football.
