Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries is focused on securing a move elsewhere and does not intend to negotiate a new contract until the summer transfer window is shut.
The Dutchman has entered the final 12 months of his deal at San Siro, and Inter are keen to tie him down to fresh terms. But Dumfries, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, is determined to leave Inter and is tempted with the possibility of joining Erik ten Hag's Reds, according to The Athletic.
Dumfries has spent the last three years at Inter after joining from PSV for £10.7million plus add-ons, and has since made 132 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and adding 20 assists.
The 28-year-old helped them win the Serie A title last season, having lifted the Coppa Italia during the previous two years.
