Dave Cormack blasts back at Rangers chief Stewart Robertson in SPFL TV deal row as Aberdeen chief breaks down £150m 'reality'

Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has blasted back in the SPFL TV deal row ahead of Premiership clubs holding crisis talks over the proposed £150m contract with current broadcaster Sky and he wants to get over "the never-ending cinch dispute".

Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson accused Hampden head honchos of “underselling Scottish football” in an interview last week.

The Ibrox club refused to give their backing for a new £30 million a year deal which would see current broadcaster Sky Sports continue to show top flight games until 2029 and increase the live match package from 48 to 60 games a season.

And Livingston have reportedly joined Rangers in failing to respond to the SPFL ’s 'Qualified Resolution' - which would remove the necessity for a waiver letter and needs a 11-1 majority to give the green light to the new deal.
