Manager Alan Dowson didn’t see the funny side of an officiating error which he felt cost Dartford in their home draw against Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Darts’ wait for a first National League South win this season goes on as they drew 1-1 on Tuesday. Striker Harvey Bradbury gave them the lead before Dean Inman equalised after the restart from a corner which wasn’t cleared.
But Dowson says a goal kick should have been awarded by referee Morgan Conn, that decision proving key. On his team’s display, Dowson, who confirmed young defender Sam Odaudu had come off in the first half with a hamstring injury, said: “It was very good.
I thought we played well. “We should have won the game. Especially in the second half, we were a lot stronger. “But again, we have to talk about the referees.
