Dante Polvara admits Aberdeen’s disallowed goal in their defeat at Tynecastle was a real boot in the Bojans. Teammate Miovski thought he’d given the Dons a priceless lead against Hearts after curling a stunning effort beyond Zander Clark.

But the North Macedonian was denied a peach as VAR clocked a trip on Beni Baningime in the build up and Barry Robson’s men found themselves all square again.

The Jambos took full advantage, scoring twice after the break through Jorge Grant and Lawrence Shankland to leave Robson on the brink. “Of course, if that goes in …” Polvara rued.
