Danny Rose in illuminating Rangers confession as he claims woe goes back two years amid loaded Celtic reminder

Former Tottenham star Danny Rose reckons Rangers haven't been same since Steven Gerrard left...despite reaching a Europa League Final in the time since his shock exit in 2021.

The ex-England international believes the current side managed by Gerrard's former lieutenant Michael Beale are a pale imitation of the side which romped to Premiership title glory in 2021 as they finished 25 points ahead of Celtic.

And Rose is utterly convinced Rangers have lost a spark since that move to Villa despite Gio Van Bronckhorst reaching the showpiece Final in Seville, winning a Scottish Cup and reaching the Champions League last season.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "I saw the highlights this morning. The own goal was a bit of a calamity. It seems Rangers have not fully recovered since Steven Gerrard left and the success he had.
