Free agent Alfredo Morelos is reportedly set to continue his search for a new club in Spain. The Colombian striker remains without a club despite being available on a pre-contract since January and as a free agent since leaving Rangers at the end of last season.

The frontman declared earlier this summer that he was searching for a club at a 'top European league' and could be set to get his wish with a report in Morelos' homeland from El Pias declaring he has has travelled to Spain to speak to four unnamed La Liga sides.

It has been suggested that a move to a South American club could be on the cards this month with Gremio and Cruz Azul among the sides that have reportedly knocked back a new deal The forward's agent Martin Camagno has touted Russia as the top destination for the 27-year-old after leaving the Scottish Premiership behind with Zenit and Spartak Moscow named by the representative as potential destinations.

But with the transfer deadline rapidly approaching Morelos looks set to try and seal a move to Spain's top flight - with the out of contract star able to move out-with the window.
