Cristiano Ronaldo: Jose Enrique slams Man Utd star's 'disrespect' towards Jamie Carragher

Jose Enrique has pulled no punches when giving his assessment of Cristiano Ronaldo’s behaviour prior to Manchester United defeating Liverpool on Monday. Much was made of the United star deliberately blanking Jamie Carragher when he went over to greet his former teammates Gary Neville and Roy Keane.

After first walking over to greet Neville on the far side, Ronaldo turned and came face to face with the Liverpool legend, who seemed to awkwardly put his hand out to acknowledge the star, only for Ronaldo to brush past him without a care.

The United man then went onto speak with Keane, his former captain, before re-joining his teammates for the warm-up. But why did he blank Carragher?

The obvious explanation seems to be that he was upset with some of Carragher’s comments regarding his performances at United, as well as the effect he had on the team.
