Club semi-finals round-up: Cliffords and Fossa march on

The Clifford brothers - David and Paudie - between them kicked nine points as Fossa defeated Meath's Castletown by 3-14 to 0-11 to qualify for next weekend's All-Ireland club JFC final against Stewartstown Harps of Tyrone.Goals from Cian O'Shea and Emmet O'Shea had Fossa seven to good at the break and that lead was pushed out further when Eoin Talbot, after combining nicely with David Clifford, goaled just after the resumption.

The 2022 Footballer of the Year kicked six points at MW Hire O'Moore Park, with his brother landing three as the Kerry champions booked their ticket for the Croke Park decider.

Kevin Ross led the Castletown's scoring charge with six points.Stewartstown Harps needed extra time to get the better of Galway's Clifden, winning in the end by 1-14 to 1-09 at Dr Hyde Park.

A John O'Brien goal on 19 minutes saw the Connacht side lead by the bare minimum at the break - 1-02 to 0-04. The second-half exchanges were tight, with Stewartstown drawing level.
