Christian Eriksen has expressed his frustration about his limited time on the pitch after a chat with boss Erik ten Hag. Despite only playing for 37 minutes in Manchester United's last seven English Premier League games, with Kobbie Mainoo often chosen for central midfield positions, Eriksen spoke out after a brief stint on the field during the thrilling 4-3 win against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The Red Devils reached the semi-finals after 120 minutes of brilliant action with former Rangers loanee Amad Diallo the hero on the day with his last-gasp extra-time winner.

Ten Hag's top choice to play alongside Casemiro is youngster Kobbie Mainoo, who has solidified his position on the team, leading to Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes being positioned further ahead.

Eriksen is not used to watching on from the sidelines and he has voiced his dissatisfaction as he heads off to represent Denmark during the international break.
