Chris Eubank Jr has apologised for his astonishing outburst in which he he labelled boxing supremos Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren as "scumbags".
At the press conference in London to launch the upcoming Riyadh Season show in Saudi Arabia on October 12 - in which Eubank Jr faces Polish fighter Kamil Szeremeta on the undercard of the mega undisputed light-heavyweight clash between Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol - Eubank tore into the duo as well as fellow promoter Kalle Sauerland, who he also managed.
The 35-year-old accused Hearn of permitting a proposed fight with Eubank Jr and Conor Benn back in 2022 even though the latter had tested positive for a banned substance and also described veteran promoter Warren as a "cheat" and a "liar".
But now in a statement produced by Eubank Jr's new promoters BOXXER, the Englishman has apologised for his actions. He said: "Following today's press conference for the historic Riyadh Season event on October 12th, I would like to retract my inaccurate statements and offer my apologies to Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn and Kalle Sauerland.
