Police have issued CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to after a teenager was sexually assaulted on a train to Manchester Victoria.
The incident happened on a train from York on Tuesday, April 11. An 'unknown man', who boarded the TransPennine Service at York, attacked the 19-year-old victim.
He then left the train at Manchester Victoria, British Transport Police said. Officers now want to speak to the man captured on CCTV as they believe 'he could help with their investigation'. Anyone with information about the incident - which happened between 2.20pm and 3.35pm - should also contact officers. In a statement, a BTP spokesperson said: "British Transport Police are today issuing CCTV images following a report of sexual assault on board a train.
