Carl Robinson is on Dundee United's four-man shortlist to replace Jack Ross. The former Vancouver Whitecaps, Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers manager is competing with Kevin Thomson, Dean Holden and current interim boss Liam Fox for the top job at Tannadice.
Record Sport revealed last week that United chiefs had whittled their options down to a final four as they seek to make an appointment over the international break.
And it's understood Robinson, who racked up 52 caps for Wales during his playing career, is in the running to take over on Tayside.
He last managed in Australia with Western Sydney for almost two years. Former Scotland star Kenny Miller was Robinson's number two at the A-League club before he returned to Scotland.
