During an action-packed day one of second Test between India and South Africa on day one, a total of 23 wickets fell, which is the second highest number of wickets falling on day one of a Test.

On the first day at Cape Town, South Africa elected to bat first but was dismissed within a single session. Next up, India started out way better, but a late batting collapse saw them get all out as well.

Later in their third innings, the Proteas lost three wickets. The most wickets during the first day of a Test was during an Australia versus England Test back in 1902, when 25 wickets fell on the first day itself.

The highest-ever wickets falling on a single day of a Test match was during the first Test between England and Australia back in 1888.

Yashasvi effected one of the rare modes of run-outs during India's second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore on Sunday. While a batter getting runout is quite a common scene in the field of cricket, it is rare to see both the batter and the fielder engaging in a sprint race towards the stumps during the dismissal. After a hiatus of more than 14 months, Team India's talisman batter Virat Kohli was back in T20I colours on Sunday, playing a handy knock to help his team beat Afghanistan in the second T20I in Indore. The crowd inside the Holkar Stadium gave a special ovation to Kohli everytime he touched the ball or collected a boundary. Riding on a flurry of mighty maximums, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed Afghanistan's bowlers to smithereens with swashbuckling half-centuries as India made short work of a 173-run target to win the second T20I by six wickets in Indore on Sunday. While Yashasvi got out after hammering 68 off 34 balls, including six sixes, Dube ended unbeaten on a 32-ball 63, hitting four maximums in the process. India completed the chase with 26 balls to spare, taking an unassailable lead in the three-match series.

India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl against Afghanistan in the second T20I in Indore on Sunday. At the toss, Rohit announced two changes as Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal returned after missing the series-opener. On the other hand, Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma missed out on a place in the XI. With the series against Afghanistan set to India's last assignment before the T20 World Cup in June, Rohit emphasised that the team wants to try out different things to prepare for the World Cup.
