Punjab Kings look like a team in trouble at the moment without their skipper Shikhar Dhawan. Chasing a target of 175 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore, PBKS were bowled out for a paltry 150.

Leading the team in the absence of Shikhar Dhawan, Sam Curran failed to inspire the team both with the bat and the ball, and was run out for just 10 runs off 12 balls.

Unimpressed with Curran's decision-making, especially with regards to his run out, Sehwag didn't mince words while criticising the English all-rounder who was bought for a whopping INR 18.50 crore in the auction.

Curran remains one of the most sought-after all-rounders in the game. But, at the age of 24, he hasn't had as much experience under his belt as players like Dhawan.

Apart from one century to his name, Harry Brook hasn't performed as was expected from him in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 as Sunrisers Hyderabad had bought him for a whopping fee of INR 13.25 crore. After a poor start to his IPL career, Brook gave those trolling him a fitting response with a century. But, since then, his form has gone bust once again. After the Englishman was dropped from the SRH team for the match against Rajasthan Royals, Virender Sehwag criticised Brook for letting the 'trollers' into his head.
Former Indian cricket team opener Virender Sehwag believes that Shubman Gill shouldn't be satisfied with his current run of form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and the Gujarat Titans opener should strive to improve his numbers. Gill currently has 469 runs from 11 matches in this year's competition after managing 483 runs in IPL 2022. However, Sehwag warned against any kind of complacency that comes with this kind of form and said that Gill's intent should be to finish the season with 600-700 runs.
Former Indian cricket team opener Virender Sehwag expressed his displeasure at MS Dhoni getting repeatedly asked about his potential retirement from cricket after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Dhoni was asked whether this is his final season by commentator Danny Morrison ahead of their match against Lucknow Super Giants, but the Chennai Super Kings skipper cleverly sidestepped the question by saying that it is something that the experts are saying and not him. Sehwag said that even if it is his final year, Dhoni should not have to answer these kinds of questions constantly and he will let people know about his decision when the time is right.
