Bruno Fernandes hopes Rasmus Hojlund's best days at Manchester United are ahead of him after the striker broke his Premier League duck against Aston Villa.
The Dane had failed to score in more than 1,000 minutes in the competition but his 82nd-minute strike completed an impressive 3-2 comeback for his side, who found themselves two goals down at the break.
His United teammates were ecstatic when Hojlund hit a first-time effort in off the post with Old Trafford erupting as the club’s four-game winless streak came to an end. Speaking to Amazon Prime Video after full-time, Fernandes was asked about his delight for Hojlund. “Not only for him, but because it was 3-2 so we really needed this,” he said. “We know as a striker he needs to score goals.
