BREAKING: Man, 23, fighting for his life after crash

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car in Oldham. The smash happened on Whitby Road at around 4.15pm yesterday (Sunday).

Police said the motorbike was travelling south down the road, before it collided with a car that was turning into April Close.

The rider of the bike - a 23-year-old man - was rushed to hospital from the scene after emergency crews responded. He remains there in a critical condition, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. Try MEN Premium now with our amazing New Year offer...
